Hi, my name is Bethan, and I am a Specialist Support and Admin Worker at DRCSAS. Before this role, I was a Volunteer Support Worker for four years. In my volunteer role I was providing helpline and email support, as well as some direct face to face support. I now deliver direct support, as well as some admin tasks, where I can indulge my love of organisation and stationary.
I really appreciate being a part of this empowering and uplifting organisation, and being surrounded by like-minded women. Supporting people as they heal and recover is a real privilege, and I feel really lucky to be a part of that journey. Seeing the incredible strength and resilience of survivors we work with is inspiring, and providing space to hear their voices and listen to, and believe, their experiences is incredibly important.
