Specialist Sexual Violence Organisations in Devon

The Survivor Pathway an online resource for anyone wanting to know more about specialist sexual violence support in the South West

The Sexual Assault Referral Centre (SARC) specialise in rapes and sexual assaults which have taken place in the past 10 days, they are able to treat injuries, test for STI’s, provide emergency contraception and collect and store forensic evidence. You do not have to report anything to the police to go to the SARC and/or have forensic evidence taken.

Survivors Alliance North Devon (SANDS) specialist counselling service for adults living in North Devon who have suffered from sexual abuse or rape and their non-offending family members.

First Light are the Independent Sexual Violence Advisors (ISVA) service in Devon. ISVAs are trained to provide emotional and practical support to survivors of rape, sexual abuse and sexual assault who have reported to the police or are considering reporting to the police.  You do not have to report anything to the police to have an initial meeting with an ISVA.

SALT - Sexual Abuse Listening Therapy are based in Plymouth and provide a listening therapy for individuals, couples, carers and families in the area of childhood sexual abuse.
