Volunteers

Make a difference. Stand with survivors. Help create safer, more compassionate communities across Devon.

Volunteers are at the heart of DRCSAS. Whether you’re supporting survivors directly, helping with community events, or offering therapeutic skills, every role strengthens the safety net available to people affected by sexual violence.

We offer full training, ongoing supervision, a supportive team, and a chance to contribute to meaningful social change.

Why Volunteer With DRCSAS?

Across all roles, volunteers receive:

✔ Comprehensive, trauma-informed training

Aligned with national Rape Crisis standards and OCN qualifications where applicable.

✔ Regular clinical supervision and wellbeing support

We look after our volunteers so they can safely support others.

✔ A community of women committed to empowerment, justice, and survivor-centred care

You will be part of a warm, supportive organisation.

✔ Personal and professional development

Build confidence, experience, and specialist skills, whether for future employment or personal growth.

✔ Contribution to real, meaningful change

Every hour you give strengthens the support available to survivors in Devon.
