Update on our Waiting Lists: February 2026

We carefully monitor our capacity for support and will update our current waiting time statement every three months.

February 2026:

This month the new Sexual Violence Support Partnership was launched across Devon. With funding from the OPCC this new partnership sees 6 organisations working together to ensure survivors get the support that best meets their needs, as quickly as possible.

Approximate current waiting times (from date of support planning appointment to start of support sessions):

Specialist Support (Including Trauma Stabilisation and Group Support)

3-6 months

Waiting times for our services varies for each service and by area, so it is not always possible to give an exact waiting time.

Therapeutic Support

We no longer hold a waiting list for therapeutic support, although we do continue to have limited availability for these services. Survivors who come to us for Specialist Support, who have goals that would be better met by Therapy, will be offered therapy as part of their recovery journey, where there is availability.

This will be kept under constant review to open spaces as regularly as possible for those that are coming through the service.

We continue to work towards a service with no waiting time for any of our services.

We are able to offer some of our services such as community groups, peer support spaces and the online Taste of Recovery course whilst people are waiting for support. If you are waiting and would like more information, please contact us.

If you need to talk to someone for more immediate support, the Rape and Sexual Abuse 24/7 Support Line is open every day on 0808 500 2222.
