Tanya a Specialist Support Worker smiling

Hello, My name is Tanya and I’m a specialist support worker with Devon Rape Crisis and Sexual Abuse Services. Before joining the staff team in September 2019, I was a DRCSAS volunteer supporting women on the helpline, via email and also face to face. Previously I have worked for a housing association, managing services for vulnerable people including a Womens refuge and services for homeless people.
In my role I work with people to support them on their journey to recovery. It’s a privilege to work with people and see their strength, resilience and courage.

I consider myself a feminist and I campaign for women’s rights and for the rights of victims and survivors to receive the support they need, when they need it.
I’m proud to be part of an organisation that cares so deeply about making a real difference to peoples’ lives.
