I previously worked for many years in varying roles for local government. These roles included supporting legal services, finance & IT. Often the environments in which I worked were challenging. I then went on to successfully start and run a business, until I took a career break to look after my daughter.
Life throws its challenges, and during a period of reflection I became acutely aware that we need to maintain and develop services that reflect the resilience and strength of women whose voices need to be heard. So here I am, honoured to be invited to be a small part in an outstanding service and happy to support their work.
